Hmmm that's not what hesjedal and evans described though. I gotta go with their analysis.

Bavarian's credibility has gone down the drain.

So ... it's raining, the course is mighty technical, it's long and there's a wind kicking up. This TT isn't going to be fun for anyone.

Why did he get dropped on a short climb? That is the question.

Short steep punchy climbs in amongst tricky descents are hardly something he excels at. All about the staying in touch coming into this TT surely? The really big time loss yesterday was purely down to the crash in the rain and the nervousness that followed that.

Can I also point out I'm not a Sky or Wiggins 'fanboy' particularly either. In fact I'd prefer a race with an off 'form' Wiggins here to iron out his obvious TT advantages as it would make it far more exciting. I have no particular favourites, just want exciting racing. If I was a fan of anyone in this race I'd choose RH as his stage 3 antics alone so far (and his L-B-L performance again) show he's a rider prepared to put it out there and gamble.

If Wiggins is not ahead by a significant margin in the GC by the end of this this stage, yesterday's stage won't have mattered anyway because he didn't have the form to win the race in any case.

maybe he'll got help by the weather today. There's 45 minutes difference between his starting time and the main contenders. He might be lucky to skip the rain and the rest of contender will ride in pouring rain. If that happens bad news for all contenders because they would loose more than 3 minutes. Hopes the weather stays the same until the last rider *keep finger crossed*. Please mother nature, let there be a fair fight.

TAWK will leave in 5 min or so. Hoping he does a top 5 in the TT like in the Dauphine last year, since this technical TT should suite him very well.

Amen to that!

Hopefully this TT will give an answer to the form of Wiggins in this Giro once and for all.

A strong time and it says that all the little issues he's had in the first week have been problems elsewhere (confidence, tactics, luck) but an average or worse time and it'll be game over surely.

Wiggins aside, good time from Dowsett, that last few hundred meters looks nasty and I hope it stays dry for everyone.
