In a show of epic competence, it seems the rule book says 30% (haven't looked myself) whilst the official time sheet says 25% -

Some really odd Wiggins speculation going on in this thread. I think people are reading far too much into his 'form' from these opening days. Pretty much all his time loses so far have come from being behind or involved in crashes. No need to be right at the front for frantic finales at this stage in the race. I really can't see him not taking the stage today and large chunks of time too as previously expected. He's only downfall today could be the rain again.

That's not surprising Only the Giro 2009 TT was harder in the last years.

If Wiggins is on top form and its a big if from what we have seen in the last few days then he could put huge time into some of his rivals today and maybe only leave 1 or 2 in with a realistic chance of winning the Giro, I'm not convinced he is in top shape though.
