If Wiggins could somehow recover and do a normal TT he would still be in contention for the win. Henao and Uran, going by what they showed the last 1,5 years, would be battling for top-5 at best.

That is if the idea of Wiggins having had a bug is true.

I didn't say or suggest you sacrifice Brad because, as you note, he could keep close and remain in contention. I'm thinking it wouldn't have made much of a difference if one of the Colombians was allowed to ride for themselves. It's irrelevant at this point.

I'm all for getting rid of GPS on ITTs (it makes it more exciting), but just one intermediate in the middle and one right at the end is not enough.

So split times at every point is to much. Two is to few. What number of check points should there be Goldilock?

Would not surprise me. If I were Wiggins (especially if he's ill) I'd just drop out and focus on the Tour now, I don't think he's interested in riding for a top 10 spot.
