He came to the Giro with the Tour in mind already, he is not 100% form and apparently he is sick now

where does apparent come from? He can't win=He is sick, what a logic!

Had Wiggo not had the mechanical he would have beaten Dowsett. Not a bad TT in the end, still not in top shape though.

Depends on your comparison. When comparing him to the rest of the field it's not a bad TT. If you compare him to himself over the last year it's a terrible TT.

What happened, wrong intermediate for Wiggins or did he really gain 50 seconds in the end on Dowsett ?!

Dunno but a Really Nice comeback....maybe that engine is just starting to fire!

His climbing today tells otherwise

These are maybe the numbers Kerrison was talking about...lots of work on climbs hence some loss in the ITT, it's happened to others before and for the 2013 GTs it's not a bad idea.

What I don't get is why the judges haven't told them off yet. It's been way to long without some interference by now. While I agree what they're doing is wrong it seems odd to let it go on for 30 km without interfering and then penalizing them afterwards.

what are they supposed to do? the road is only have a certain width. they are definitely duke it out between them. It's not like henao powers pass by wilco. They just keep outdoing each other. what are they supposed to do? just soft pedal so the other will pass 8 bikes length or something? they've been yo-yoing with each other all the time.. none of them can take the other cleanly.

Of course they take a drop, he will need to make up time in the mountains now, unless he's going to gamble it all on the MTT. Most people expected Wiggins to have a 2 minute lead after today (before earlier events), so that's a 3 minute turnaround.

Like I said, not a bad TT in the end but still below his best. Perhaps reports of him being ill after Cataldo are true.

Dowsett suffered on final climb...

Kangert closed 28 secs, Wiggins massive 49, Henao 34, even Clement 27.

If any of GC contenders hits the last intermediate inside half a minute deficit, Dowsett won't take a win.

Only just opened this thread - there is no Poll option for Wiggins not winning!!!!

Technically a winning margin less than 1 minute could be negative and thus not really a winning margin but a loosing margin.
