It's too bad they didn't include that Mur de Huy-like hill from the worlds course, a few k's from the finish. As it is, still a good stage.
Then they would have to take a steep descend from Fiesole. (West instead of south)

They are climbing the side they will descend at the Worlds. (and descending the side they will climb..)

But the original version had a lap of the worlds course, didn't it? Why did they change it, seemed like a nice idea.

Yes it did. First three loops of the worlds course, then one. Don't know why they changed it.

I agree it would have been great with a preview of the loop.

Gesink will obviously win but hey let's not include him in the poll because it's way cooler to hope he and his entire team will crash :)

the rain really should make this much more interesting, wiggins will have a lot to prove in these conditions he hasn't liked it so far.

I believe the favourites will contest the victory today. Vini Fantini will want to bring the break back today and will be super motivated.

His horrible TT was intentional I would guess, now he has some leeway to get in a break or some late attacking without response.

I think everyone is still too excited to let a break take it. Hesjedahl, Scarponi & maybe even Evans will keep it spicy. Somebody with some Nerts will take it. Scarponi for me.

This is one of this game inside the game moments. The White Jersey is still in play so I don't see Saxo or other interested teams (Blanco to a lesser extent than Saxo) letting him go without a fight (or at a minimum getting Majka in the break as well).

all together for now, vini fantini brought back the breakaway

in logical, not coward conditions, wiggins can lose the giro today.

Vini Fantini will not win today with Proni. They will chase it back.
