Vini Fantini will not win today with Proni. They will chase it back.

if somone else doesn't chase too, it's another vini fantini fail

jens_attacks needs to use his imagination. The Killer will attack from the peloton, bridge across to the break and ride away to victory! :p

Proni was their only one (apart from Santa) who made it over the climb in the front group on the stage Paolini won. He crashed a couple of days ago but if he recovered he isn't much worse than anyone else they could send up there

nah
but i think santambrogio and the rest of the favourites might destroy today any chance for wiggo though

they don't have too much time for now, just 1:30, who is leading the peloton? astana?
afraid of juanma?

It's only been a decade or so since Juanma did a top 5 in the Giro no? So they better be afraid

good: Pirazzi and Visconti to fight for the mountain jersey:D

Will be interesting. Pirazzi's the better climber, but he'll need to go a bit before the summits as Visconti will outsprint him if it goes to the last hundred metres or two.

i don't think anyone expects pirazzi to wait for something. even for his breakwast, he is always there two hours before it's getting ready

big storm at firenze. bad news for sky

Great news ! Hope the likes of Scarponi and Santa attack and put some time to Wiggins.

How far down is Garate? Is he the best placed in the breakaway?

I had a debate with someone on twitter who said that Nibali was a good tt'er because he beat Joaquim Rodriguez in a Vuelta time trial a couple of years ago...yes I am being dead serious.

peloton not giving them more than 3:00 for now; it was 3:05 few km ago

that's nice, if the front group remains within few minutes, we can maybe expect some attacking in the final, so let's hope the peloton stays scared for Juanma
