Nibali may well take it easy on the descents if it stays wet. Off the top of my head on wet descents he's crashed in Lombardy twice and twice more the other day

LOL Wiggo says 'frankly I descended like a bit of a girl'. At least Bradshe admits it :D Also said 'his numbers' yesterday showed he is stronger than last year. Bike racing is more than numbers Sky!

Pretty honest comments from Wiggins.

Yes.

Sadly tho, he says he descended like a girl then realized that comment wasn't PC and backed up a bit.

Too bad we are all so sensitive nowadays:)

Txurruka wins the Vuelta a Asturias.

Expelled from Euskaltel, has as many wins as the whole Euskaltel team this year.

what did he say?

That he was disapointed not to win the stage but when he saw the numbers realized it wasn't bad and he's in the form of his life (so presumably he'll attack in the mountains)
Says he descended poorly.

Txurruka is mainstream now, getting wins and all that stuff. He isn't funny anymore; now you can't be sure that the break he's in will inevitably fail.

Very unfair. Maybe he descends like Emma Pooley, who cheerfully acknowledges that while she's good at going uphill, she's woeful at going back down again, but there are some good descenders in the women's péloton.

I'm glad Wiggins is aware of his issues, that goes a big way towards solving them.

Oh shush. Can't you just be happy that one of the most deserving guys out there finally has a win after 7 years of being in the break every day? It'd be like if Pirazzi finally got a pro win, but only in four years' time. Only Pirazzi had some notable amateur wins, like a stage of Regioni.

Great entertainment from Pirazzi and Chalapud. No reason for a complaint from Chalapud though. Thought the move by Pira was fine.
