Oh shush. Can't you just be happy that one of the most deserving guys out there finally has a win after 7 years of being in the break every day? It'd be like if Pirazzi finally got a pro win, but only in four years' time. Only Pirazzi had some notable amateur wins, like a stage of Regioni.
This wins will kill the legend of Txurruka :D

I don't expect Astana to kickoff the fireworks on the descent, but I would hope BMC, Garmin or Lampre would see the benefit of attempting to put some time into Wiggins...

Another really tough day today it looks like. The third week cause the most carnage in recent history I think considering how much this week must have taken out of everyone in the peloton (not just Wiggins).

can see it now any race wiggins is in, people will want steep descents with rain or the profile will be described as useless or boring

Some rain at the Tour could definitely shake things up a bit. Wiggins' "buddy" the Dawg showed similar descending "skills" to Wiggins in Tirreno. Without rain it will just be Sky staring at their powermeters all day and everyone on here complaining about it.

LOL Wiggo says 'frankly I descended like a bit of a girl'. At least Bradshe admits it :D Also said 'his numbers' yesterday showed he is stronger than last year. Bike racing is more than numbers Sky!

Looking at Wiggins taking corners yesterday and the fact that he changed a bike once it's fair to say that Wiggins was the strongest yesterday.
Fortunately cycling is also about technical skills.

Anyways I still think Wiggins is in the race for pink, allthough no longer the favourite ofcourse.
