They don't need to do nothing - Wiggo does it by himself.

What a bunch of BS. Hes back near the front now. Even if he did get dropped which is not a sure thing, then hed still have uran and henao to pace him back up on the flat stretch at the end and will lose minimum time,

Really disappointed in Astana and Co. They clearly they could have completely killed off the Sir. I'm not sure what they were thinking.

Has there actually been any objective evidence for Wiggins' claim that he is in the form of his life? TT was very average by his standards and he hasn't dropped anyone in any climbs this year that I can remember.

Yes very much in control. Just spent the last 30 km chasing. But in control. As always.

If he survives today he can be a new man after a nice warm down on the rest day. I wouldnt write him off yet

This is turning into Vuelta 2011 for Sky. Has Wiggins got something on Brailsford or what?

I appreciate that you have to be somewhat selfish to be a champion, but anyone with a shred of decency would just admit they haven't got it for this race and demote themselves from the position of team leader.

the're almost back together just right before the climb, Wiggins to attack :D

When will Gesink do his yearly act ;)

Gesink isn't not known for staying upright. so he'll keep wiggins company through out the descend, holding hand singing.. kumbayaaaaaaa my looooooordd... kuuuummbaaaayaaaaaaaaaa...while nibbles, evans and hesjedal cruising down hill at high speed.:D:D

Not guaranteed that Wiggins will get dropped on descents in the days to come. Tomorrow is a rest day which might give him a chance to get back there mentally and if its drier through the rest of the race then a few teams might be regretting not putting the pressure on earlier.

There was an idea a few years back that he was a poor descender but he seemed to have put those ideas to bed. Seems that poor descending has resurfaced for some reason.
