Too bad. I hoped they maybe find at least some flattish road to Martelltal and make the MTF there (if it's snowing on the way up, the riders should be able to deal with it imo, especially if it's a short stage), but it's not to be I guess.

They do need to do something tomorrow, whatever the weather may be. All roads can't be closed.

Next time it's snowing round here I'll just tell my boss that I'm not coming in because if the pros can't do it then I definitely can't! Far too cold. Let's see what he says.

Skiers must be looking at this current crop of lycra lovers and shaking their heads. If you're cold put on some more layers guys ...

Do you ride your bike to work when it snows? Downhill with 1km altitude difference, at 50+km/h? And is your commute more than 100kms long? And taking your bike is the only option for you to get to work? If your answer to all those questions is "yes" then maybe your boss will grant you the snowday.

I really hope the stage tomorrow will be ok. Anyone knows about the weather for tomorrow?

2012 was worse. At least we enjoyed a very good first week.

Better? In what aspect? In 2012 we had at least intrigue, uncertainty, unpredictability, anticipation that everything is about to explode. This Giro is endin' up with a giant incompleteness. For me it is just a huge mountain devastation. Seems like there wasn't any mountain stage at all.

Sad news, but the cynic in me says the stage would have gone ahead if Nibbles was down in second by 15 seconds.

Nah don't agree with that, stage with selvio was more redeeming imo.

And the first week wasn't that great, it was just laughing at Wiggins. Stage 3 was great though.

when after 3 weeks of a GT there's still uncertainty, unpredictbility etc. in the GC, either the stars aligned properly or something has gone wrong.
In the case of 2012 it's the latter clearly. Nothing happened for 19 stages.

Disastrous Giro, i wonder if they will learn from this.
They need to create plan B's in advance.

It's the most terrible Giro i've seen, I'm missing words to describe.
Complete disappointment.

why don't you just stop trolling around - my guess, you've never seen snow in your life or ridden a bike downhill when it's snowing, right?
