One of the most enjoyable races of the season there!

Completely agree. I was expecting this race to be fantastic. Looking forward to Montréal also.

Sagan looked as if he had bike problems, rather than just blew apart.

If not, then how will he match Cancellara, the italians and the spaniards at worlds?

PS: Gesink's wife hiding their baby inside a bagpack?

Backpack carriers are very common on this side of the Atlantic and would make much more sense than a stroller/pram in that kind of crowd.

LOL that was hilarious! Gesink took the front with a little more than a kilometre to go and noone ever passed him! Great race as usual.

I think sagan gave up from the moment he saw Robby passing by him. Also let us not forget if it wasn't him, Terpstra would have won .

Instead we should realize that Sagan cooked Froome in that uphill slope.

what what hwat whathat whta. Gesink can only perform in Canada.

And California... :p

Just went to look him up on Wikipedia was gonna see if I could make a dumb joke about him only being able to perform places starting with 'C'... and his Quebec win is already on!

Well, Froome certainly didn't have it today.

He thought he was going to rip it up on the final steep ramp and got jumped easily by Sagan. Put in his place.

Exciting race. One of the best this year.

Not really Froome territory though, had it gone on for a further 15 km maybe...

Worlds winner will be between Froome/Nibali/Contador or some other good GC climber with decent TT abilities

If on this inside city "climb" you have GC guys with 2k to go imagine on 5km climb repeated a lot of times

Gesink should just ride on the Continental America Tour exclusively. He can return to Europe in 15 years and be ready for a GT win then.

Daaaaaaaa***mn I missed this.

Besides the fact that Gesink won, which would've made me jump off my chair screaming this race is always good. Usually even better than Montreal, but I'm confident I will be able to watch Montreal. Can't miss both of them.

Reading the comments this was one crazy race again.

What a great race, and great win for Gesink, I think Sagan's early attack did for him in the end.

And Van Arvamaet follows the wrong wheel

Gesink must have a chance for the worlds.
