Is EBH fast enough in a select group sprint? Not enough to trouble Sagan anyhow so he'd probably need to come to the finish alone.

Which riders/teams benefits most due to these atrocious conditions you reckon?

I dont remember that many cold, snowy races or stages that can be used as a reference.

Bigger riders (more body weight) generraly can stand the cold better then smaller riders. But it depends, some riders are less affected in bad weather. I'm thinking about Vino, Nibali, Armstrong (He did his best rides in bad weather conditions).

Boasson Hagen has won plenty of bunch sprints in the past. I'm not even sure Sagan is that much faster than him (probably depends on how good a day they have and what they did during the race).

Lol at the contrast of Blanco vs. Sagan. This is why Sagan wins all the time and rabo not.

I really don't want to be to hard on rabo, but it's hard if you hear rumours of them abandoning with the entire team and then a photo of Sagan smiling and having fun in the same conditions.

Yes, it's a mentality issue.

I thought he would write more stuff than pathetic if you are really writing for him :D

Well you would need special dispensation from the mods to be allowed to write what ryo woupd write in this situation, without facing a ban yourself.

it would start with
"Like I always said" continue "rabo is a joke team" evolve to " I was laughing when their leaders crashed out of the tour" and maybe something about hoping the coach crashes on its way back to the hotel as this would be poetic justice.

Btw, this should favour Stybar incredibly.

He wasn't going to handle a 300km race like this in at least another year imo, considering he's coming from cyclocross. But now they cut it up for him, + it's snowing and raining, which cyclocross guys like him are perfectly used to. Especially if they are Czech.

His chances have increased with today's circumstances, not sure i can see him win though.

For a month IIRC

Must've insulted some people again... Or was it just the usual Clinic references in the Pro road section?

He always adds value to this forum, a shame he'll be out for another 3 weeks or so.

They should wear diving drysuits or thick neoprens today. My biggest problems ridding in the cold are my feet. My body always goes into energyconserving modus and forgets about heating the toes.
