i actually think that Gesink and quintana are the favourites for this, particularly quintana

+1, Gesink has shown some good early season form, and Quintana has had some decent results even while working for Valverde. Really hope Quintana can perform here, its good that he won't have to slave for Valverde.

Will be looking to see what Bardet and the younger Izaguirre can do here. Check out Cofidis' team:

BAGOT Yohan France
COPPEL Jerome France
GARCIA ETXEGIBEL Egoitz Spain
LE MEVEL Christophe France
LEMARCHAND Romain France
NAVARRO GARCIA Daniel Spain
TAARAMAE Rein Estonia
ZINGLE Romain Belgium

Not discount basement I would say.

Definitely Quintana. He's probably the best climber there, and he can do an excellent uphill TT. Rain and wind might spoil the party though.

I thought it was only Rujano that sucks in rain and **** conditions. ? .

Interestingly EBH is on the start-list for Sky, even though Sky originally said their entire classic's squad would be going to a training camp in Tenerife instead of P-N or T-A. Weird.

Perhaps Edvald doesn't want to go to Tenerife this year either.

Could also just be the Sky website mixing up Boswell (who originally was scheduled to start) and Boasson...

Taaramäe said in his blog that Navarro will be probably their leader in there and that he probably won't be in good shape for Paris-Nice.

that mountain itt suits him like a glove, quintana doesn't suffer from rain and cold very much, but wind (echelons) would be a problem

Rain or Rein? :)

Fuglsang isn't gonna win nothing if he won't do something with his hair. That's comedy, he looks like Lampre's guy. But life is about compromises, so he's doing compromis between "cool look" and training.

Three stars for Kreuziger isn't bad, actually I'm surprised with this faith, considering ill - fated beginnig of the season. He lacks racing kilometres compared to some others. But OFC I think it isn't impossible for him to win.

that's a shame, do you know what is going on with him?

He had nasty flu.

I think his words after the flu were that he won't be in top shape for Paris-Nice but hopes to be good. But yesterday he didn't finish Sud-Ardèche so his shape will be big question mark.

In his blog today he said that in Paris-Nice he will get little help from the team but Navarro will be probably the leader because this years route suits him (TT uphill) and because he's shown very good form in late. The team will wait until Montagne de Lure and then they will decide who's going to ride for who.

PS. Sorry about my English. Not my first language but I hope I was clear enough.

Saxo's team:

BRESCHEL Matti Denmark
KREUZIGER Roman Czech Republic
LUND Anders Denmark
MORKOV Michael Denmark
ROCHE Nicholas Ireland
SUTHERLAND Rory Australia
SØRENSEN Nicki Denmark
ZAUGG Oliver Switzerland

Looks strong enough to support Kreuziger on this parcours. This appears to be the kind of opportunity he needs to take.

New line-up for Saxo-Tinkoff since Kreuzuger is doing T-A instead of P-N ;) :)

Anders Lund (Den)
Michael Morkov (Den)
Nicolas Roche (Irl)
Nicki Sörensen (Den)
Rory Sutherland (Aus)
Mads Christensen (Den)
Evgeny Petrov (Rus)
