Really missing Boom in this poll. I know he didn't look convincing in E3/RVV, but he didn't last years either, and still did good in Roubaix.
He's also known as Other with 17%.Dekker_Tifosi said:Really missing Boom in this poll. I know he didn't look convincing in E3/RVV, but he didn't last years either, and still did good in Roubaix.

I'm missing Phinney. Really hope he'll win now that Boonen won'tDekker_Tifosi said:Really missing Boom in this poll. I know he didn't look convincing in E3/RVV, but he didn't last years either, and still did good in Roubaix.

Gaudin's fingers?El Pistolero said:Cancellara would beat Gaudin with 2 broken fingers.
at the rate he's been falling this past week, your theory may be tested...El Pistolero said:Cancellara would beat Gaudin with 2 broken fingers.

I'm starting to think Canc won't win this. Being such an overwhelming favorite could wind up working against him. Devolder is going to play a critical role, I think. And now, he has his 2nd crash in a few days. No telling what effect they might have but they certainly can't help.Der Effe said:Cancellara just crashed in a training ride.

There were almost 20 guys who were on the list to go on the poll without too much separating them. In the end, I mostly went with my personal predictions. It really hurt me to leave Flecha out but I would be thrilled to be wrong. First thought I had when it was done was "DT won't be happy without a Dutch option, particularly Boom." I have no faith in Vansummeren.Lanark said:People like EBH, Van Avermaet, Haussler and Paolini have no place on that poll ahead of guys like Vansummeren, Boom and Flecha.

Sometimes current form is more important than past results...but not for P-R. Skills on the cobbles is everything here, so I think Boom will at least be top 10 even if his form is ****. Same with Hushovd, really.Dekker_Tifosi said:yeah but Thomas and EBH really have no place in that poll. Considering past results alone and just look at Boom last 2 years. Oh well![]()

Thomas or EBH probably won't win the race, but they are still the best options for Sky IMO.
