To be honest: this could be an awesome race if Cancellara was indeed somehow taken down.

I was just thinking that. Nothing against cancellara, but with him and boonen both out, it would be rather open. In that case, I would love to see flecha finally win it. Don't know how many years I've been cheering for him. In that category of longstanding 'almost' candidates, I wouldn't mind pozzato or hushovd either..

That's my worst nightmare. A Roubaix victory for the arch-wheelsuckers! :(

Not my worst nightmare, but . . .

I DO want Canc to win it. I like Canc. But I think he is going to be too well marked to take it this year. Who will it be among the rest? Gok.

You should put all the money you win from winning the lottery on EBH!

Sadly, winning the lottery is probably the most likely of those two events

EBH following Spartacus when he hits the throttel on the Carrefour??
About the same odds as Kittel following Contador up Alp'd Huez.

This might actually be pretty interesting as Cancellara will not drop Roelandts as easily here as he would on one of the 'Bergs' (such a stupid word :D)
No offence but that is utter cr*p. What have Roelants ever done in P-R? Canc will easily ride away from him, when he decides to.

EDIT: Just looked it up. 14th in 2011 just ahead of Gaudin

Let´s be fair ... this is a race for the mighty Spartacus to win or to loose, in normal conditions the others won´t matter at all!!

Stybar will take it. Time to open a classic account ...

Phinney, Boom and Pippo to be in the mix. Hushovd will either podium or quit.

... voted for Spartacus ... only if he can keep the bike up

I hope Cancellara wins. Having said that, I hope a decent break goes up the road so he has to produce an epic ride to win.

Phinney I think is BMC's best chance. Hushovd does not impress at the moment after being off the scene for a long time.

Most definitely, sadly I think BMC will have Hushovd be leader based on his palmares. But the smart decision would be to give Phinney leadership. Maybe BMC will put Phinney in the break, that would be a smart decision and give him a great chance at the podium.

I think Thor will be on great form. Remember when he won world's he said his 1 remaining dream was to win Pr. He showed good form in tirreno and been playing possum since then. remember 2011 he wasn't all that before roubaix either.

Too bad Ballan won't be there as BMC would have more options.

Well it is his race for the Spring but I just think Phinney might be stronger at this stage.
