Not mentioning Hushovd is a good sign.

@taylorphinney
Knee is all good, bike is solid, body is well rested, mind is where it needs to be: hungry for pavé! #ParisRoubaix Best race in the world..!

Really hope that neither Hushovd nor Cancellara wins, but if I had to choose between the two it'd be better if Canc won.

Please win Phinney!

I'm hoping Boom will at least make the top 5, but he'd have to be in the best form of his life to achieve that.

Why? He was 6th last year and seems in better form now. He was only bad in T-A ITT and E3 this year.

many times? maybe stick to walking?

Well, ok, several times anyway, twice this winter. Riding in semi-liquid snow on a vehicle with very little traction admittedly isn't very smart. ;)

Anyone from Portugal who can tell me if any other channel than Eurosport is showing the race on Sunday? I am visiting someone who doesn't have Eurosport...

Cancellara also singled out Sébastien Turgot (Europcar) and his French team explaining that once again, the early break would prove crucial to eventual victory.

hehe he was warned :D

I like Cance very much as a rider, but this year I actually hope someone else wins it. Would love it if the peleton breaks up early. But still, It kind of ruin its a little if Cance makes a move with 40km left, because we all know he will win it if he goes solo.

My bet is Paolini, Roelandts, Stannard and Flecha in a break that goes all the way.

As for EBH, he will "die" trying to hold the wheel of the big guns and finish 35th. But its better to try and fail, than not try at all.

Only Eurosport. None of the portuguese channels shows bike racing other than the Volta a Portugal.

Watch videos from the build up to Paris - Roubaix 2013 including Fabian Cancellara's crash during training - http://bit.ly/17gFAWZ

Hadn't seen the video of his crash. That was actually harder than it looked as anyone who's gone down like that can tell you. He took a real hit to his shoulder. Will probably be okay by Sunday, but going down like that sucks on flat asphalt. He went down on cobbles.

EDIT: I see someone here says they've gone down like that many times and it was no biggie. In reality, taking a shot like that to your shoulder joint "many times" would end you up in surgery. I am calling BS. My one crash like that almost landed me in surgery.

Then I would say that perhaps you were unlucky, however no accident is the same and it is futile to compare (or jump to dramatics and call BS on someone). I've had a harder fall and was (relativity) quick to jump up with no more than mild embarrassment and a little anger yet I've seen people go down on a slip and not be able to continue their ride.

For Fabian's sake I hope that he's brushed this off and it will be of no consequence come Sunday.
