The race tactic should be quite simple for any non-Dutch.

Attack, attack and when not attacking, don't pull!

There are two broadcasts tomorrow. One at 4-6 or something, and then a second at 6-9.

I presume the first broadcast is the women's race. Prime time eh?!

My schedule lists that first one as the women's TT. I'll bet it's a typo.

Lucinda Brand with a gap. Cromwell following. Italians will have to chase now.

Noemi Cantele probably with a flat during the descent. She was on Brand's wheel and now she's not even in the chasing group.

Brand and Cromwell caught.

But Bronzini still there!!

Pretty decent racing going on now. Course looks promising for tomorrow provided they race it hard.

That's a nasty corner right there. Men better watch out for it, especially if it gets really wet.

Now Ratto and Brand away, although that means no Italian or Dutch chase I'm not convinced that move is strong enough. There's still some strong time triallists to work for themselves in the group behind - Cromwell, Stevens, Ferrand-Prévot and Johansson are all no slouches. And while Vos is a super strong sprinter, the fact that Bronzini and Armitstead are both still there will worry a few of the others.

Rossella is the younger sister of Vuelta stage winner Daniele Ratto. She's a better climber than him, normally.
