Isn't that the same race where stage 3's results (queen stage) were dismissed and Albasini ended up winning?

I don't know about that. If I remember correctly, Szmyd was by far the strongest guy in the hills in that race, so he'd probably have won the MTF imo.

Thanks. Stage 5 looks like it could be good fun, coming a day after Green Mountain.

It's hard, small group (GC contenders only) for sure.

Looks like Sky's Giro squad + Froome, already sorting the Wiggins train out.

Really? Last year on Mende he got beat by Wiggins, Westra, Leipheimer etc., on a short steep climb. That's pretty crappy for a punchy climber like Uran, you know. I mean, if it was his first race, it's not a problem at all, but no way was he one of the best. Wasn't even in the top 10.

It was his 1st race of the year.... and he was total domestique for Wiggins..

What the hell can you expect more ffs ?

Sky's Oman squad looks bit ridiculous :p

Well nothing, but somebody went arround saying he was one of the strongest, which I don't think he was, because he had poor form because it was the first race of the season.

Since he isn't domestiquing for Wiggo and since he has more race rythm now, he should definitely be considered one of the favourites, considering the field, which I already affirmed.

Don't believe Joe Dombrowski's full schedule has been posted yet.

Tentatively, Dombrowski is slated to ride the Giro, the Tour of Oman, Tirreno-Adriatico, Criterium International, Route du Sud and the Giro del Trentino. He may get to race stateside, as Sky is weighing racing in Colorado come August at the USA Pro Challenge, according to the team.

Hope Sky races US Pro Challenge, as Dombro has a good shot at the best young rider, or even a podium there.

TJ Butcher has added Tirreno to his programme.

What a hard programme for Dombrowski, BTW. They tryin' to kill him in his first year?

Henao is much older than Dombrowski. And Dombro only started road racing a few years ago.

I'm sure somewhere else, theories are already being concocted about keeping the good ole boy away from the secretive training camps by ensuring he has lots of races.
