Im a big Cav fan but for me he is slowing a little he is no longer dominant v Greipel and Kittel, ill go for Kittel he seems to have Greipel's number this year. Id love Cav to win though as he was great in the Giro. Sagan to not even top 5 in this stage.

I know it's kinda predictable, but cavendish will take it. Or sagan 'the hulk'. Kittel naaa.. don't know why, i guess some of his comments just rubbed me the wrong away. Hopefully he got swallowed by cav or sagan.:D

Vino?

No, in all seriousness, would be great to see someone slip away with 2k to go and the sprinters to balls it up.

Can't see that happening though- congrats to Cav in advance!

How about Lieuwe Westra repeating his first stage victory in the Tour of California (escape at 5km) available at 250/1

Cavendish has been luckier than most sprinters having teams built around him. How many other riders would have had better results if they had the resources he has had.

I hope Sagan takes it tomorrow - a sprinter that can perform in all sorts of races and on his own and is worthy of wearing yellow

None. Cavendish has been the sprinter most worthy of the support. Sagan is really more than a sprinter. To dismiss all spinters that can't get to the finishes Sagan can is ridiculous.

Thanks for this post - especially the map!
Every year I search for these things only for them to appear on EBay in August. I think they are uber useful and if anyone has a set Please , please please post them for every stage. Thanks

The 'other' forum has a link to the full roadbook with even more detailed maps than this.

Yes ES have Dan Llloyd and Backsted on the couch. Absolutely going to own any other broadcast anywhere in the world with that

WTF:cool:

Eurosport offers a short clip of their list of favourites

Rui Costa, TJVG and Pierre Rolland as contenders for the TDF but no Rodriguez, Valverde, Pinot or Quintana.

They know something we don't? :p

Yep, 30 mins of them, and then 5 hours of Carlton.

Looks like they wasted all the budget on the couch then. Thankfully for today everyone will just switch off after the actual depart;)

Yep - Lions, GP qualifying nice bit of Robson and then back in time for the intermediate sprint.

Need to work out how I squeeze MotoGP in.

If the variety in people's opinions bothers you, then you are in for one crappy life.

Anyway, Kittel is a dark horse on this stage.

There is no variety that's the point.
