Gene (EUC), Perez (EUS), Mate (COF), Niemiec (LAM), Boeckmans (VCD) und Lemoine (SOJ).

well, also I wonder if the mantinels will be straight next to the road, or the pavement's(of course if there are any) will be usable. If so, some skillfull riders could use them for their advantage, than it could get quite interesting and the winner might actually not be the fastest sprinters, but the most skillful one, maybe kristoff or sagan?

Why is neimic in the break? this stage is for sprinters. or does he expect that the final bump might help him?

somebody must go in the break on such a stage. I can imagine Niemec was told to join the break whether he likes it or not. Now Lampre gets a bit of telly time.

I think he can afford to say that in a flat stage where other teams are going to do all the work.

Why does Lampre even allows Niemiec to spend useless energy on a break with 0.01% chance of making it, where he's not even the best sprinter? Why?
Am I missing something like an HC climb at the end of the stage?

Very fast tempo means that echelons are forming and break at 2:18. Hopefully some entertainment now.
