Someone should have a go near the top of that final climb, that 6% section, maybe. I don't think Froome can descend that well.

Notice that the final 70 km of the stage are EXACTLY THE SAME as 2011.
Lazy ASO

They should have checked the col de Moissière (9.3 km @ 7.7 %, final 3 km over 10 %).

Please, make Froome fall in the Beloki turn so Contador can do an Armstrong offroad ride. :D
And make this Tour interesting again.

Hm, was wondering if the Cat 2 would be hard enough for someone to see if they could drop team sky again - its 7.6km at 5.2% so i wouldnt have thought so.

Could be a fast start to this stage with a lot of people wanting to get into the break. The Cat 3 should be steep enough to form a group though.

Garmin should definitely set up that bomb again, hoping that Movistar doesn't repair all the damage.

Parcours can be raced from km zero, but with the ITT next day, a break is very likely.

Most guys have more to gain by creating chaos/getting in the break than by focusing on the TT. Garmin and Movistar (bar Quintana, who they normally leave fighting alone) especially, and they were the ones blowing up the race a week ago. Saxo's probably going to be conservative as is Belkin, but Movistar and Garmin should try to do some damage.

Lets hope so. Add BMC, Lampre, Cofidis and even Cannondale.

No reason to hold anything back.

Is this the same stage as 2011 ? Many teams will be interested in this one as it's probably the easiest stage left apart from the Paris one. I agree with others saying the teams like BMC who have done nothing will have to chase the win. With bigger gaps on GC now, it might work.

I believe it's the same from Serres (64 to go)

Would be nice to see Gilbert get off his ****. A repeat of 2011 would be even better, but I'm not sure the Pistolero still believes he can win.

Are such posts OK with the mods here? Only asking, so that I may know if in the future I can make some of this type and what are the limits here. Or are these OK, as long as they are about Froome, just the same as thinly veiled Clinic accusations are completely OK as long as they are about Froome. Maybe some mod could explain to me. Just askin', so that I may know better how to post...

I think it is OK as long as it is as joke instead of a direct accusation.

For what..? Froome will show Les Diablerets 2 and take another stage...

To go down with a fight and to make the race exciting. I don't want to see the other teams just take a "Froomes going to win anyways, lets just ride easy, and preserve I'll GC spots" approach. I want to see them keep fighting for the win.

So you're complaining about posts that should be in another forum? This post should be in another forum.

the quoted text was a joke.

personally though, i would prefer clinic to stay in clinic.

saying a "doing Armstrong", if intended as a tactical move is also, i guess. Fortunately or unfortunately, the Bruyneel/Armstrong combine had ridden some nice tactical races as well.(or popularized a few)

belkin may not allow Contador to do a long range attack.

BMC desperately need a stage win, orica and opqs are hungry for more; and my main man Voeckler hasn't won a stage yet.

but the way the spineless sky ride, break will gain 6+ min.

There is one thing for sure in last years tour. sky at least appeared in control of things.

Just report whatever you don't feel comfortable with and let the mods make the decision.
I vaguely recall though that it is forbidden to wish for a rider to crash, but I may be wrong.

is there anyone on this field capable of attacking at the base of climb and holding on till the finish?
