I thought the second decent is tricky. Wouldn't it be better to stay on the normal road bike?

3 options here

Road bike

Road bike then TT at 2nd climb top.

Full TT.

I think there is a *** paper between them and the correct option will depend on the individual rider.

no, he most certainly can't, but together with the descend, he could make top 15 or better I guess if he wanted.

Only Pinot would lose more time on the descent to Sagan than he gains on the climbs.

of course not because it will rain like mad

Yeah, whatever. I'll get back to you after the stage. We will still see the tendencies as the conditions will be the same for everybody who's close on GC.

well, then there's the factor of the rain, which will made the descent slower

What? Does anyone really think Sagan can do two cat-2 climbs faster than any decent GC contender?

No, but I think he can climb quicker than Marcel Kittel if he really wanted to.

Sagan said yesterday he would take it easy, don't expect anything.

I know he said it, but he said it also before the first TT, and you can't blame for hoping he will change his mind.

@Ryo Do you have any info on Amador? Will he go full gas? This course seems perfect for him.
