it's a time trial. If they crash it's their own silly fault, no peloton to get caught up in, no breaks to chase.

JC Péraud will be very good. Did he fall in Pais Vasco ITT as well? Because I know he fell in the Col d'Eze ITT in Paris Nice when he finished fourth.

+ 1 hope mollema finally got kicked out. I'm done with leeches. If he is out contention, he is more willing to attack. I'm waiting for the real fireworks in 3rd week, someone like mollema with his wheel sucked his 2nd spot won't help the cause. So yeah, I hope he topple out of podium.

It seems like the later the riders set off the heavier the rain. So later riders will probably be affected more.

i m really irritated with this years tour. outcomes of stages seem to depend more on other factors than rider skills.

i just pray that none of the riders end up on the road.

in the two ascents Froome could gain like 2 x 15 - 30 seconds to Contador/Quintana but he will also loose 2 x 10 - 20 seconds. Now add the rain and the empty adrenal glands from todays crash. + some fear
