Mikel Nieve and Dani Navaro would be good allies for Bertie tomorrow. ;)
You know, one of those payback time as long as Bertie is allowed to follow them.

I am so ****ing ****ed off.

You're not the only one who thinks that was a joke.

Talk about sharing the stuff around. Though when the inevitable happens second becomes first anyway. :D

I expected froome to win but by a larger margin. Maybe 20 seconds.
So does this indicate that alberto is closing doing on him in terms of form?
I really hope we see exciting racing tomorrow and the guys racing for 3-10 in the gc don't ruin the spectacle for defending their positions.
If alberto somehow wins this tour (Im being optimistic rather than realistic) then this will be the best tour I have seen!

One thing is certain.. Alberto is ready to make a stand!!

He is the only guy keeping this tour "alive"
Odds say he wont win but i still have a feeling this tour ain't over..

Today we saw something new -Froome not "killing totally" his opponents. This may be important, because all the tactics to beat Froome is based upon lack of form from him.. Today we saw a more evenly match and the teams know that chances to isolate him early the next days are actually not so bad if they work smart...

I beleive Froome has to hang on tight!! He is in for a fantastic ride....
Lets see how it ends

Froome to win the Tour with 5 stage wins? Unseen since Hinault, since Merckx?

Merckx won 5+ a bunch of times, Hinault won 7 in 1979, Fignon won 5 in 1984, but that was the last time it happened.

Froome: ''Surprised at win, I didn't go as deep as I did in the first time trial and was surprised at the time checks...."

And the key thing might be that he has been in top form all year, wich would make a slight lack of performance in TDF week 3 plausible...?

One thing is certain, Froome didn't go as fast on the climbs like I thought he would. Maybe he is slowing down a tiny tiny bit.

Or he was saving energy.

He really said that? In that case: His arrogance is supreme...!! His statements are hopefully mental attacks to opponents? if not he is truly belonging in another thead?

Quite honestly - Looking in retrospective, I was expecting The dawg to win it- but then during the course of the TT, it seemed unlikely to happen, since he was behind Contador & the rain at the last K's were factors to prevent him from winning---- What is enraging is how the fvck he pulled the time to win it on the last Kms... This is too much......

Might as well break Pantani's record tomorrow to complete the picture.....

That's a bit like Ullrich when he won the 2001 ITT WC by accident.

He can beat it two times. Don't know if it's been mentioned here before, but Contador and Kreuziger would (could) have had better times than Froome if they had changed to time trial bikes after the last split.

No. He's got it.

Probably not the forum to discuss the bolded super-natural condition.
