His career is over, so nobody cares if today or tomorrow. ;)

So a podium in the Giro is worthless ? BMC just should not have included him in the Tour. It was incredibly optimistic. He got a result he did not expect in the Giro so why push it ? He should have been saved for the Vuelta or Tour of Poland. He does not look good enough to win a stage at the moment but no harm in trying. His fans actually care as does his team.

i haven't heard any complaint coming from purito, quintana, contador, valverde, dan martin, mollema who are in the top 10. Only froome and of course grouppeto martin and radioshack who are basically off top 10 (except froome)

this. quintana even said that if it's dangerous you just need to take less risks riding it down

i don't think that the course should be determined by one rider who wants to whine at the end of every stage he doesn't win.

Chicken: Its to early to say if the descent is to dangerous. If 3 riders go over the side I guess its to dangerous. Time will tell.

lol

On behalf of anyone who has ever lost a friend to a training accident or race incident...

I hope you were drunk or stupid when you posted that comment.

Otherwise, you're an embarrassment to yourself.

Making light of a rider being injured or killed is classless.

I think he just quoted Chicken and I can understand the lol, that quote is just stupid. The classless one is Chicken and I agree with that.

So it's all on the riders: just be responsible? Nah, organizers shouldn't let riders do too dangerous descents. Some riders will take unnecessary risks hoping to distance rivals, which can trigger other riders going faster than they should do. Organizers just can't calculate with that all the riders will take their responsibility and then blame it on the riders if things go bad. It also hard to know as a rider exactly how fast one should descend if the roads are wet, that's why we see so many crashes on wet descents.

You do realise that I was quoting the chicken and I added the "lol" cos I found his point of view ridiculously cynic and funny, right?

i know already of one rider who will whine.

but generally the good riders are always willing to lose even a minute to avoid crashes.

If a rider is a good descender and makes time in an apparently dangerous descent, then we should probably just cheer at the display of good skills.

you should be able to joke about every aspect of life(and death), if you can't then you have unresolved issues or other problems. don't take life and yourself too seriously

Today is the day we have been waiting for.

This will be an epic stage, blood, sweat and tears for sure.

There will be many broken men and many champions.

This will be the greatest stage of Le Tour in the modern age.

Only the best man will win, we will see the true champion win this stage.

BRING IT ON

relax Ryo. i think Mr Bean just got carried away. I don't think that any fan fantasizes about seeing a crash. Most of us want to see a crash only as a replay; that too to verify for ourselves that the rider in question is not hurt badly.

The definition of a dangerously ridden course comes from the nature and number of fatalities. Though many race organizers have learned their lessons from the past, we have badly designed courses even in this TdF. (remember the stage with TWO 90 deg turns in the final 650 m)

I heard the only chance of them cutting the descent is if there is a snow storm. So I'm not really concerned.

i just hope that you are right.

i have been excited of this particular stage from the time the stage was announced.

I`m not angry or anything. just something I said in general, which applies very much to this forum and how ridiculous rules are

They need to observe rule 5.
Edit: or maybe not, is it on or not?

I'm going to stick with my original prediction, Schleck to take an epic solo stage win from the breakaway. Officially marking his comeback.

Edit 2: And forgot to mention, Froome will go Full-*** mutant skyborg and do it in 37 minutes flat. But of course it won't be enough to make up the gap to Schleck. :D

i officially love AFRANK , he has never once lost the faith in andy and neither have i

GO ANDY !!!
