Why is froome chasing after rogers?

For a sec i thought it was AC but it was rogers, why?

he fears any saxo up the road for later, he knows his team won't be able to chase them back. man this is chaos and this can blow froome lets hope

But wasting your energy to target rogers is ridiculous. Porte was a few seconds behind, he should have waited for him.

Normally this would blow up anyone, but I get the feling Froome will still win, unless he loses too much time on the descent.

I hope I'm wrong.

Saxo's tactics are great but I'm afraid Froomborg could singlehandedly close all gaps from all riders in the peloton for the remaining 160 km and still win with +3 minutes on the Alpe!

If that happens, you know where to take it.

The dawg has a new agenda, he not only wants to dominate Alberto, now he wants to dominate the entire Saxo team...single handed. GREAT!!!

how does it look like? will the bus rejoining the peloton on the descent or do they really have to worry about the time limit?

Depends. If the break forms quickly and no-one wants to chase then the pace will drop a lot and most if not all should get back.

FWIW a lot of guys will have taken it easy yesterday, had a fairly straightforward day the day before and before that was the rest day.
