Say what you like about French people, but goddamn they've got themselves a pretty fabulous country.

There are three carrots in the lead group excluding Izaguirre.

Surely one carrot must be Nieve.

Spotted Ruben Perez and someone else (I think Oroz) that is not Nieve, didn't see a third one.

They are mostly nice people too, its an annoying urban myth that they collectively arrogant or whatever.

Well, they are a bit socialist, that is true.

Seems the second group is pretty much irrelevant anyway, apart from polka dot jersey battle.

I doubt that very much. It is a hell of a long way for 2 people on their own to go from here. Even if it was Quintana and Froome in top form it would be tough.

The 2nd group is relevant (For the moment) in all ways.

It is still relevant for stage, GC and polkadot. In fact I'm not sure how you could get a more relevant group ? (Unless there was an actual GC contender in there but that won't happen at this early stage)
