Nieve is one of the better climbers in the race, so he can easily bridge a couple minute gap :p

If Gesink, Nieve and some other good climbers put a decent pace on the Madeleine it should do doable.

Three Omega Pharma-Quickstep riders on the attack
Pineau, Cavendish and Kwiatkowski have attacked the peloton on the descent of the col du Glandon.

Is that corrct (From letour.fr) I know Cav is a great rider but wasn't expecting it on a stage like this !

Cavendish is a very good descender, he's just gonna pace them down the descent. Not really that surprising.

Good descender, peloton going slow enough for him to keep up there. Might be just enjoying the descent, get himself ahead of the peloton for the next climb.

Presumably Hejsedal's sunglasses are actually some super premium sports product, and not the 5Euro specials from the bargain bin at Intermarche that they appear to be ?
