Millar was highest placed on stage one on those that are left. He will only lose yellow if there are time gaps. Yellow Jersey is time based not points based

ffs, the first GC countback rule is the "super points" i.e. the sum of all stage placings. That is a UCI rule.

Points or stage placings for both stages. I don't see why stage 1 would matter more than stage 2.

It is the same as the yellow jersey. The yellow jersey only loses his placement if there is a time gap not placement on today's stage. The same principal applies to Millar he was 4th yesterday and he only loses his placement if there is a time gap not his placement today.
