Van poppel still there? If he or Millar finish in the same time as today's winner then they will be in yellow (van poppel would if he's there)

Has anyone seen Samuel Dumoulin? (I know he is hard to spot)

I think he dropped ages ago, at least there was a small AG2R rider in the Kittel group earlier.

Not done on points. It's done on finishing position on the first stage until such time as there is a time gap

Doesnt it go on aggregate position so of those left in the front group Millar (4th) and Rojas (9th) are the best placed from yesterday. So Millar has to finish within 5 place of Rojas today to stay ahead of him on GC. That is of course assuming they finish in the same time.

Seems very odd. Why would where you finished on stage 1 matter?

He's carrying more weight this year as he has been struggling to recover in the middle of the tour the last few years

Surprised he's worse than Kittel though

Bringing Tony home

I don't think the Cat 3 climb will be pivotal. Rather I think the attacks that matter will happen at 2 km going up a 500m 5% average grade followed by a 1.5 kms of downhill to the finish.
