At least with the go-slow it will be another hour before they get to the climbs, so if something happens we will see it.

I reckon only Cannondale really have an incentive to chase until after the Cat 1 or maybe even the Cat 3 climb. There's no GC threat and Greipel, Cav and (especially) Kittel cant be sure they will be there at the end.

Maybe the break has a chance?

So, other than Evans, have any GC guys NOT hit the tarmac yet?

(and frankly, that in itself is rather surprising considering how the rest of his team keep getting caught up in these things)

If people on here are correct, Porte did go down today.

Moreno and Gesink is stretching the definition a bit.

EDIT: and apparently Moreno did go down anyway. So of the 3 guys put forth so far in addition to Evans as GC guys who haven't crashed, 2 actually HAVE crashed and the other is 8 minutes back already.

Moreno crashed today.

Anton and Nieve didnt crash yet, un****inbeleivable!

Not that they are GC guys, but well...
