Wow that was a stupid move by Degenkolb. Great win for Sagan though and well deserved for all the efforts of his team

It was a perfect sprint by Degenkolb. He just missed that bit of speed Sagan has at the moment.

Bennati said he had a flat just before the cat2, so he was a bit spent in the sprint because he had to fight to keep up. Also said Cannondale was very strong today.

Finally Sagan, well deserved. Cannondale did all the work for the final sprint all day long.

He went before the 250m mark that was way too early in my opinion. He was sitting in Sagans wheel he just had to wait 3 seconds longer (no guarantee for a win of course). He has a habit of going from too far which has cost him a handful of victories already.

Epic From Sagan. Even more epic from Cannondale ( christ, for a moment it was as if they were about to drop the whole peloton before they got crooked on that roundabout ).

Degenkolb sure snatched at it though. He had Sagan's wheel just fine and went way too early.
