Voigt was doing 70km/h into the wind? Yeah, right. That's a farkin Sherwenism: put at least 10km/h of 'mayo' on top of the real speed. Sh1ts me :p

Looks like fdj really got a sprinters team for the future here in Demare and Buhanni :)

And with Pinot shining in the mountains the future looks bright for the french :p

As I said yesterday, this was never going to be a certain Sagan win, in a flat sprint there are a lot of guys in this race who are about as fast as he is. The upcoming stages suit him more though as the peloton should be smaller.

Don't think that was crazy by Demare, when he started it looked open, but Tyler tried to close the door or go when he felt Demare coming up.

Connondale really does not look like "dedicated to Sagan". If they keep doing this amazing job in Tour the Green Jersey is allready decided. Anyway quite bad positioning from Sagan today.

At least Farrar didn't cause a crash. A novelty.

i'm thinking Ben Swift should change his name

Swift didn't contest the sprint, he finished dead last, over ten minutes back with Dombrowski according to the results. Presumably due to a crash or illness.

Wow gutsy move by Demare, what a sprint!
yes that was awesome. absolute perfect timing. one of the best ever. let's look forward to him rivalling cav one day (and this is coming from an aussie nominally supporting gossie)
