I was just checking the GC and noticed Kelderman waaay down. I havent seen him in the mountains at all. Just before reading your post i was thinking that they should give this guy a long rest period beore burning his talent.

He's obviously tired if you ask me and I don't expect him in the top 20 today. Allthough thats risky since a TT is his specialty.

he was piloting Mollema in the reduced bunch yesterday. But i agree with you after this race he needs a long rest. he's been going at it since Romandie.

Weather should not be a problem today. Both the chance of rain and a light headwind are predicted to die away as the afternoon progresses.

Is what i say a false statement? Well we'll see although it's very unlikely it'll happen, i don't think frank has it in him.

I wonder what canc will do, probably bad.

I don't think he does either, but it will be a BMC win on the stage and overall imo.

Frank has done a lot of work on his TT, did a very good tt recently in California and people have underestimated him all week. I wouldn't write him off completely to podium.

Not really.

But if he holds the win ( which wouldn't surprise me either ), I don't think there's any need to go into a clinic...

TJ did a pretty moderate TT on stage 1 - narrowly beaten by Costa, Mollema and Kreuziger there and I'm not aware of any excuses for that. If he was on top form he wouldn't be over a minute down

GC between Costa and Mollema for me

He also climbed quite poorly in the first MTF, and improved during the race. It stands to reason his time trial will also be considerably better than the prologue.

TJVG to win the stage.
Costa to take 2nd and win the overall.
Meyer to come 3rd on the stage.
Pinot to ace the climbing section.
Frank to come 2nd in the GC ahead of Kreuziger.

I don't think Cancellara has any chance with that climb.

Really confusing times coming from the ticker, not sure what to make of it...

It must be tailwind, and maybe strong, becouse they are flying in the first point.

Cancellara is in Suisse and will try to do it ok, but no more, he has any chance today, I agree with that, even out of the top ten in the stage, but he could be top 20.

Do they really start the tv coverage only after the leader has already departed?

Thank you.
Of course with this there is not tailwind.
They are climbing about 20 km/h
