I have the feeling that the camera bikes have been pulled back to the start so they can be ready for the men's coverage - thus missing the final climb for the ladies.

A rider has just said that it was too steep for the tt bike, so a road bike change seems to be the thing to do.

US commentators need to learn the difference between a ITT and a prologue.

Well... I'll admit that I'm a bit confused as to when a first-stage ITT is considered a prologue, and when it's simply a first stage that happens to be a ITT.
But... am I right that that commentator just thought that something six days into the race is a prologue?

It depends on whether the ITT is over or under 8km.

I thought it had to be the first stage. Or in fact, the stage before the first stage ;)

Thanks. Kinda knew that it had to do with length, it was the... length... that was an issue!
And, it's always a first stage, right? :p
