How many are on your ignore list by now?

Typical Rodriguez finish.

Contador will have a difficult season it looks like.

Not trolling, he's just basking in the schadenfreude. 2013 is shaping up to be a great season for cycling. I'm really looking forward to TA.

Definitely. I didn't think J Rod or Evans had the form to come to play here. Terrain is a natural for J Rod, so if we thought he had the goods going in, he would have definitely been a top choice.

I suspect AC went too early but we won't know until we get the video or a description of the events. Froome should have this with bonus seconds

I didn't either, but both surprised me on how well they rode, especially Evans.

what's the problem. Interesting that J Rod won. Interesting that Contador didn't blow everyone off his wheel. Interesting that Froome beat Contador

I mean it's a very interesting result. J Rod wasn't expected to win after a poor showing mid week. Everyone expected Contador to blow everyone away, he didn't. Isn't that what the whole of this forum was on about this morning?

Looks like there'll be 3 riders within 1 second of each other with 2 stages to go.

That too is interesting.

Agree, this is interesting.

This could easily be the best stage of the race. Looking forward to it.

I've got it as something like

Froome
Contador @ 2secs
Nibali @ 3 secs
Evans @ 6 secs
Rod @ 30ish

Obv assuming the rest of the GC was dropped by a fair amount of time.

Nice one for purito and froome.

I wonder though what happened with Contador.

I was sure he was gonna win this, i guess he went too early or just not good enough.

Who knows, wouldn't read too much into it. AC's impeccable record is based on GT results, not one week stage races with purito type uphill sprints.

He'll come good.

Tbh the only reason I didn't pick jrod to was that I had completely forgotten he was racing :p A short climb like this is perfrct for him

Don't you find Nibali was prepared not very good in the 2011 Giro? To me, it is obvious. That was his worst GT, without considering that year's Vuelta.

Hard to see ever winning a tour, and with the Giro fields strong again hard to see him winning that. Had his luck with Anton crashing out when he won. His climbing is good but its not standout and his time trial is flawed, if

trolling because i said the result was interesting. quite obviously defensive again and taking things personally?

i wish i'd predicted Rodriguez, thank Karaev

I'm not trolling, what's the point? Most of the posts I've seen here are obviously biased rants towards their rider.

Lot of nonsense posts also.

Evans was a surprise, Purito less so on the finale.

Let's face it here. Contador didn't drop anyone. A lot of posters here were very inaccurate, with how today's stage would go. It doesn't take me to point it out.

I picked him last year for this stage but he was off form. and when results weren't going his way this week, i forgot him too.

shame.

Any information on that descent?
If time gaps are the ones I've seen posted here, wow, tomorrow could be fun as well.

Really, it's too bad there's no live coverage.

Now come on Spain lets test those Puerto blood bags because the thought that there might be one with AC's blood in it is taking the edge off enjoying these races. For the sake of the season i hope they can remove the cloud of suspicion either way so i can enjoy the performances for what they are. AC should want to clear his name too because at the moment the stink surrounding him and Riis is only increasing. Too much to ask?

Please note i am not saying guilty or innocent i just hate the suspicion and this is my thought on following this race today so i think justified in this thread. As today has shown This season could be brilliant or it could be massively over shadowed by suspicion.
