Plus if you were watching, you'd have noticed they've now turned and are just riding as pelotons.

they have JUST turned. I was talking about eheclons, what they were still riding. the smaller the eheclon the better in general. bigger means less riders can get in the chain and it becomes more nervous and riders not pushing through. why do you think echelons become so small? because all the riders not in the chain will drop eventually. so they are not needed anyway.
