I hope Radioshack reconsider their Giro hierarchy. Kiserslovski can't hold his own in TTs. If Machado's in form, he's their best bet - so long as he has an actual team with him.

Wyss great, 10th. Little bit more than a year ago, he was back to Conti level. Very complete, as he was already in the U23 - can climb, can TT, can recover.

You don't really need a designated leader when neither are going to make the top 6 or 7.

That's true, Machado can't make top-10 with the field that's going to Giro.

Very good results for Costa and Wyss.

Yes, but Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Can't say I'm not biased but there's more to it than that. Kiserslovski is on par if not better than him as a pure climber - he's just lacking everywhere else. The only shot Machado got as a GT contender was the '11 Giro, where he went in with no GT experience and, most importantly, no team whatsoever. Having Kiserslovski by his side in the mountains would be invaluable.

As I said, if he's in form.

Weirder things have happened.

You can argue that Kiserlovski was the 3rd strongest uphill this week. So even if he loses multiple minutes on Machado he can gain all of it back on the climbs.

But they are both bottom top-10 at best so it really depends how much they value that place.

Machado will be better than this on the Giro, Kiserloviski on the other hand i don't think will improve much and Machado is a much better GC rider than him too

How can you said that?

Machado GC results:

Giro - 19th - 2011
Vuelta - 32th - 2011
Vuelta - 40th - 2012

Kiserlovski GC results:

Giro - 10th - 2010
Giro - 42th - 2011
Vuelta - 18th - 2011
Tour - DNF ( was 22th on stage 14 before crash and working for Brajkovic ) - 2012

I would give the edge on GC to Kiserlovski rather than Machado.

P.S- Plus Kiserlovski its 1 year younger.

None of them should ride GC. They should tank an early stage and go in a couple of breaks instead.

And Kiserlovski is one year younger than Machado...

Machado was quite hyped few years ago, and though having become a solid rider, he hasn´t become the rider he was thought he would get.

Costa is by far Portugues Number one.
