This profile fits Canc more than Martin, plus Canc departs later. More favorite for Canc I guess ;)

Canc FTW followed by Martin / Nibs / Valverde / Kangert

Horner is a wild card in this one. Dont expect himm to win but considering his form I dont think he will lose a chunk of a time on this one. Wouldnt be surprised if he actually retains the red by a few seconds.

think basso could do relatively well, his poor aero position isnt gonna cost him much in the uphill section and the downhill/2nd part isnt technical at all, so his bad descending skills shouldnt hurt plus his weight should be an advantage.

No such thing as an 'easy climb' when u are going full gas.

P.s. when has a 600m ascent ever been an 'easy' climb lol? You seriously think canc can keep up with the climbers up a 600m ascent?!

This TT course is very similar to last years in terms of overall distance and profile. Tony Martin finished outside top 10 last year

Like I said, its a very similar, maybe even slightly harder version of last years vuelta ITT. That one was dominated by climbers

A nice tt course. A power climb, but with some pitches and length which should suite climbers.
There should be an interesting mix of riders in the top 10 at the end.

Apart from TM, who among the first 100 riders to start can get a good result in this stage?

i am still worried about the small steeper sections though.... thats the only place where TM could lose out.
