If Nibali won the Vuelta and Lombardia and Cancellara won the Worlds, who would win velo d'or, Froome, Canc or Nibali?
Cancellara, off course.
Froome doesn't have a chance unless he wins the Worlds. And we all know how possible that is.

Relatively simple downhill and a good descender in Sanchez.

Still falls. The Rabo/Blanco/Belkin crash disease is contagious.

i think the peloton will be careful then. giving more options for the break to succeed.

is tehre any actual worry here, or is basso just taking things easy to attack later?

In that case I would probably say Nibali, it'd be very close though.

I believe he is still weighing his options on doing the TT and the RR. Will probably stick with the the RR as his main goal though IMO.

Basso appearently lost ground to the peloton, should we assume Pinot is in trouble too?

Usually he's immune to that disease but Rabo curse is really strong

Expected... chances are the low visibility threat of thunderstorms will keep the choppers on the ground due to safety reasons.

Oh well.

"Jose Herrada (5), Vasil Kiryienka (194), Vladimir Gusev (123), Imanol Erviti (3) and Luca Paolini (128) are the five riders who have a small lead over the peloton."

So two Katusha and Movistar riders up ahead.
