Does anyone know why Aus didn't select Durbridge?

I know he would not have placed, but I would have like to see if he could have cracked top 10.

Wiggins beating Cancellara probably just shows that Wiggins will now focus fully on timetrials or the track. Focusing on the bright sides; there will be no more whining when he gets dropped on ascents and no more crowd control by Sky in the mountains

According to Boardman Kerrison is some sort of time trial genius now too.

A guy who never even knew what cycling was 2 years ago apparently understands the whole thing better than the lifelong cycling specialists many of whom actually used to ride the thing:rolleyes:

Tailwind today, headwind on Sunday

Impressive to see Quaade land 6 place in his first WC pro TT debut and partically on this length (and not least with a puncture ewen thow it wouldnt have changed anything in class // edit ' it cost exactly 17 seconds)

But kudos to Tony martin still head of the class with his impressive watts, and also impressive comeback by Wiggins and Cancellara seems to focus mainly on sunday..

I prefer this chorus:

Hear the cry of War
Louder than before
With his BIKE in hand
to control the land
Crushing pedal strikes
on this frightening night
Fall onto your knees
For the Panzer Lord

I really liked the GPS thingy, it made things much more interesting. And with the course being flat the GPS looks to be quite accurate.

Impressive of Quaade. He said he punctured just before the 2nd intermediate. He said he only lost about 20 seconds.

As for Phinney, being an american he is massively overhyped, but this seems to be about his level right now. He will no doubt improve as he gets older. If he can survive the overhyping that is.;)

Impressive performance by Quaade. Didn't think he'll transform his u 23 results in to the Pro's this quickly. Surprised by Turbo Durbo's omission by the Aussies. He surely would have cracked the Top 10.

The Aussies do seem to make some strange selections, like leaving out renshaw in 2011 and including evans for the olympic roads when he had no form
