Hardy 4th? Was he in a break? I thought he was a (not so good) sprinter?

He was just in the small chasing group, together with some other Cofidis guys. He isn't a sprinter as far as I know.

I know it was a mtf. That's why I was asking what Hardy was doing there. I thought I remembered him being a sprinter in his U23 days. Either I'm not remembering correctly or he's developing in a different direction as a pro.

Ahh sorry, I get it now. I don't know about him much, but he climbed really well today. Btw, he wasn't in the break, he was in the small group that survived after Gerdemann's tempo in the first kms of the last climb. He beat Kudus in the sprint for 3rd place.

Excellent flat stage design.

Last year Greipel won from a group of 40 riders.

It would appear several of these

hasn't quite solved Cobo's mental issues yet, but there is still time.

Was Gerdemann riding for Kudus or are they co-captains?

1800m is more Adam's territory.

Called it.

Real shame about Simon, but he can come back strong for the end of the season, and this sort of climb would not have been for him today anyway.

Cav or Gianni tomorrow?

Looks like the race is stopped due to many crashes due to slippery roads after first climb, does somebody have any info about that?

Neutralised stage in Turkey due to dangerous road conditions. More to follow. We may go to air in just 10 minutes with news.
