Lol, yeah sure, you could also have said he was on form since Tropicale Ammisa Bongo ;)

That's probably his only result in a race with a climb though... maybe the weather didn't get to him as much as the featherweights.

Seems I have to spell it out huh.

As most Australian riders he start his season, like always, a few weeks earlier than most europeans do, due to the Nationals, and Down under, whatever he choose to ride it or not, this year he didnt, he choose to do San Luis, but the point is he have already been in better shape and with race milages, than both Tony and Canc which was my top 3 for the day, so wtf is so strange in pointing out his win was expected since its both Tony¨s and Canc first race of the season, and Phinney been uping his training since January, it´s not exactly rocket science. I didnt follow the San Luis but it still doesnt matter, he rode it, and its logic his form have to be better than both Tony and Canc, so voila...who else could beat a phinney in better shape than most.
As expected...he won.

Hope I sorted out the confusion you seem to have.

lool yeah well, I could have but who knows a race like Tropicana bongo bongo. :p

My point is, he started his season and upping his training a couple of weeks earlier than both Tony and Canc and got the race mileages, where its season starts for Tony and Canc, so the choice wasnt so hard to make, since they were my top 3 for the day. Besides that I hoped, and do I dare to say expected Lasse Norman could do a top 10...I better be careful now...;);)

Truth be told I haven't given much attention to this race (aside from laughing at how it's been promoted). Phinney has made it over hills before (MSR being the best example), but I'd have to see the profile for the climb. We'll see, as of now I'll be hoping he can make it.

Hey, he is on my CQ team so it is not like I dont want him to succeed. If he can win the GC I would be more than happy :D

How hard is stage 3? It would be cool if it was a Nibali Vs. J-Rod Vs. Valverde vs. Costa route, but probably not.

He probably wants words tonight like he said at T-A last year.

He's a nightmare to ride with as a teammate.

Delighted Kittel won today. Hope he keeps handing it out to him as the season goes on.

Not a nightmare, unless you can't deal with it.
The guy is a winner and a proffesional. He will speak up when it goes wrong just as he will when it goes well.
I love the guy, but I understand why people hate him.

Nice win by Kittel. He's really stepping up to the man to beat position. I do think this will gives Giant-Shimano a problem though. Teams will start to force them to do the hard work which will reduce their sprint train quality.

Constructive criticism is grand but I always think it's better to keep it in house and remain as loyal as you can in the public domain in front of the media. He did the same public criticism to Thomas a couple of years back in the Giro.

Kittel doesn't behave that way but still wins.

Also when Kittel praises the team work he sounds more honest to me. From Cav it sounds more calculated. Might be just my prejudice though.

2 Intermediate Sprints

Does anybody know the order over the 2 Intermediate Sprints? The Dubai Tour website (http://dubaitour.com/) shows the combined points for the 2 Intermediate Sprints but doesn't show the order they were each crossed. Thanks! It's for a fantasy competition...
