Maybe not good in climbing form, but I'm sure doing the ITT isn't as hard as climbing, he can certainly gain form easily in the ITT.

No stages expose bad shape more than a ITT. All about strenght (and aerodynamics). If you aint got the power you aint got a good result ;)

So many late additions to the startlist. Nibali out of nowhere. Suddenly there are quite a few big names in attendance, and with short TTs and no summit finishes, it should be a close race.

Confused, is he riding or not?

Lampre just confirmed their line-up with Costa included.

COSTA Rui
ANACONA Winner
FAVILLI Elia
FERRARI Roberto
OLIVEIRA Nelson
MORI Manuele
XU Gang
VALLS Rafael

Sky also confirmed, with a 7 man roster only.

NIEVE Mikel
FROOME Christopher
EARLE Nathan
ZANDIO Xabier
ROWE Luke
PORTE Richie
LOPEZ David

Sutton replaces Kiri,

Barring accident/illness Froome will of course finish and most likely podium, and hopefully win, would be nice to see a CF/Richie 1-2 though:D

It would be fun if that happened. All the hype for the Tour surrounding Contador going down the toilet. :p

Are Sky seriously unable to field a full team for races? I half expect them to show up to the Giro short and have half their team drop out halfway through.

Hopefully Moser will show something in the prologue or stage 1.

Cant believe there's still some optimist out there. Other than me obviously.
I hope he's not trying to go for GC again.

Nice to hear Nibali is back on the startlist.

I'm about ready to see Moser doing... something? Anything? His inconsistency is maddening.

Very nice, very nice indeed. That relieves some of the concerns about him. Hopefully he shows us he is improving.

He confirmed on twitter before LBL and the Swiss press also said he was to ride two days ago. Anyway, in the last three years winner of Romandie also won Le Tour.

Anyone know why there so few teams in this ?

Who is going to be stage 1 break-fodder ?

Don't think TdR sees any significant value in inviting any of the PCTs.

Last year they invited IAM and Europcar only.

You have no idea what kind of form he´s in.

What form he is really is NOT form you want him to be in.

Conclusion: don't be so jealous. The riders you dislike deserve to have their fans, don't they? TJ for the win.

Anyone know if Der Panzerwagon or Kwia is leading OPQS or is it that old chestnut of we'll let the road decide.

Judging by the numbers, Uran is the leader, the main man for the Giro.

Talansky could be a factor on such a parcours.
Also It would appear Uran is scheduled to race.

Curious to see how Zoidl manages after collarbone issues(?).

The more I look at this route the more I like it.

yeah a rare chance for him to go lead has talent but how ready is he.

Uran will be given a chance surely kwia looking to wind down now.

I'm with Gloin22,this doesn't suit Uran,Martin and Kwia will be sitting good after prologue and the other stages suit them too,if Kwia is getting a rest after this and i was Lefevere,i'd just let him charge on,why not? Martin must be close to top form too after PV,can't see either necessarily winning but fancy them to do well more than Uran.

I didn't say I wish he wouldn't. I just said he wouldn't. Do I really know that? Of course not, but It wouldn't surprise me. I'm not a Froome fan, but no hate here. :)

LOL.. good answer. I just noticed new froome fan showing up? If one/two sky team DNF, it won't surprise me. Even right now they can't even fill 8 man roster. Sunday LBL, only one finish the stage. So chill... seeing how sky is falling like leaves these days, we are all just guessing if some one or some two are going to DNF from sky..no surprise anymore. Even if that some one is Froome :D

Btw what's up with kiryenka? is he sick or something? I know what happen with kennaugh. (probably fatique or burnt out).

ps. I'm no froome fan, but not hater either :D
