The weather forecast for sunday is still too far away.
I checked 3 different weather sites and all 3 very different.
1 had a sunny day, other one was cloudy, but 0% chance of rain and the last one had showers and wind.

Let's wait and see.

I'm hearing the official report of the weather happening right now is that temperatures have started to drop and a light snow has started.

Actually, the all three might be right. Just recall the 2008..
No need for me tell you about Flemish weather.

Vanmarcke also finished 4th at G-W where he also finished ahead of Boonen among other sprinters.
Vanmarcke simply has a very good sprint. Not a bunchsprinter, but a good sprint.
But that's exactly why I was surprised. G-W was the first time (That I'm aware off) Vanmarcke got such a good result in a real sprint.

He had some top 10s in the Vuelta in the past also.

By 'some' you mean one stage, right?

Difficult to see past Cancellara for this, though the steppers will be strong collectively. sagan not convinced even though he seems in form, but in the monuments he seems to be lacking a bit. Would be happy for Sep to take it, but he is more of a dark horse.

One of the best races of the year coming up and the wife invited guests for afternoon tea, will see how i handle this without being too annoying for the non cycling fans.

Btw, does anyone know what happened to Langeveld in Harelbeke? Held up by that crash, but that can't be the only reason he finished 57th. No injuries or something I hope?

Also would like to know what happened to him. He usually climbs a step each year but it doesn't seem to be the case now.

I'm in the same situation. Last year I still had a digital recorder, but we decided to cut some of our monthly expenses and it went out the door. I so regret that now.

Anyone has an idea how I will be able to watch the last 80km on sunday evening without reading or hearing any spoilers?

That's a very good question and I need an answer too. Race organisers really need to start looking at my agenda before they plan these cycling races.

Langeveld hasn't really improved for a few years now.

where did you read that?

hard to imagine there being cold and snow when it's currently 25 degree celsius outside :D
NOS Journaal. And yes, it's hard to imagine, although 25 degrees might be a bit much (in Limburg maybe).

Currently they're saying warm (19 Celsius) but rainy. Moderate wind.

I will be more then happy with rain, but so far the forecast till saturday is sunny and the only day with rain is sunday. It's just wednesday so I'm not getting my hopes up too much.

Hopefully he will have a serious go instead of fooling around.
Or is it just a filler replacing Stannard?
Probably some one else have a more precis answer, but I seem to recall wiggins was not originally set to do RV, so could be "just" a filler.

His first perfomance in Vlanderen since 2005, but since he's there anyway, why not go for the win:D
