This suspense is killing me, looking forward to Zoncolan to end this.

Good luck to all.

There are essentially only three scenarios that could prevent you winning:

Basso failing to finish, or either Monfort or Deignan winning tomorrow with such a margin that they also move many places up the GC.

The biggest thing that is a reasonable possibility tomorrow, Aru overtaking Uran for 2nd (a 60 point difference), would be largely neutralised as the highest place rider to not have both of them is Vladimir in 7th, 341 pts off the podium. Swings and roundabouts otherwise.

The first scenario with Basso failing to finish it's the most probably one of those 3 cases, but I'm confident he will.

Didn't you forget the one option were Cadel and Dupont go into a breakaway and winning by 14 min putting me in the lead? Did you forget Tour de France 2006? Oscar Pereiro? Without hope, even insane hope, life would be misery. :D

If the stage was considered somewhat anti-climactic, the same could be said for its effect on the game and the CQ scores of relevant riders.

Tomorrow, the only members of the top ten likely to gain much are Vladimir in 7th and Blackbandit222 in 10th, who should expect enough points from Nizzolo to move up a little, but I'm not expecting much other change.

All points are pretty much guaranteed at this stage, but for the sake of completeness...

is anyone doing the best team-choice analysis?

big gainers, big losers, etc....

btw, nobody chose Michael Rogers? at 277 he was coming pretty cheap.

Looking forward to the final standings.

Looking forward to the final standings.

Dont know about the best choice analysis but the two Sebs (Henao and Chavanel) seem like good choices to allow points to be spebt elsewhere), obviously Quintana, Aru, Rolland and Uran seem obvious choices.

EDIT: Also Rogers was more expensive, (410 I think - Tour of Cali points last year) and would he have qualified with his suspension

Congratulations to Hugo87, and to the other podium teams who followed very similar tactics.

And well done to all of us, who contributed to a collective wisdom team that scored in the top ten.

Little real action today: Vladimir and Blackbandit222 each move up one place in the top ten.

The rider changes (small as they are) that brought those changes about:
MEZGEC Luka 77 3 teams
NIZZOLO Giacomo 40 15 teams
FERRARI Roberto 20 4 teams

Congratulations to Trudgin who, having been last by a considerable margin through most of this game, and the Classics game, finally appears at the right end of a table, gaining nearly 1/3 of her points on a day that was of marginal gains or losses for most.

The final table I should now label as stage points rather than guaranteed ones:

Congratulations to Hugo87, and to the other podium teams who followed very similar tactics.

And well done to all of us, who contributed to a collective wisdom team that scored in the top ten.

I'm very happy to win this game against so many competitive cyclist fans, congratulations to all, especially to NairoQ and HilltopFinisher to making me sweat to the last stage.

Thank you Armchair cyclist for such hard work that a game with a continuous daily actualization requires. :)
Thanks BigMac for supporting me, after Evans had to face some non cancelled stages in the 3rd week. :p

thanks to all, especially Armchair cyclist, it was fun playing. I'm pretty happy with my ranking in the GC too. congrats to Hugo87 for winning the pink jersey.

The particularly eagle eyed may notice that I have changed the table slightly. There was an error in my spreadsheet, with code missing from one cell such that if the 8th named rider had ever worn the maglia rosa, those bonuses were not credited. Tanja has been reported as 72 points less than he should have had, and MCMountain 90 points. This is now corrected in the table.

I had a go at picking the best possible team and the best without Quintana

I think I have got the costs and totals right

Best Team

Quintana
Uran
Aru
Rolland
Hesjedal
Battaglin
Wellens
Vuillermoz
Henao

Score 2790

Best without Quintana

Uran
Aru
Rolland
Hesjedal
Rogers
Nizzolo
Cataldo
Battaglin
Kelderman

Score 2566

I don't know if these can be bettered.

My team was going great until stage 11, then the wheels fell off Cadel's bike or he was dragging an anchor either way my team had a steady drop from then on. Congrats to the top 3 and better luck to the rest of us when the TDF starts up.
