Just seen on twitter that there's no Richie Porte included in the provisional start list. Can probably rule him out of the Giro then. Wiggins is included which is a bit strange just nine days after Roubaix.

No way. Stage 1 and 2 suit him but Wigans would suffer on 3 and 4 - especially 3. Wigans is best on long, mostly flat stages with 1 or 2 longer, steady climbs. This is too technical for him IMO

The slot for stage 1 being currently filled by a re-run of Amstel.
I can't find any information from Rai, either.
Last year, it was in doubt fairly late on, but an agreement was reached.
This year, it could well be a case of no such luck.

What is this?! The best italian stage race after the Giro (and Tirreno some years) doesn't get live coverage? This is just a disgrace. I wouldn't be surprised to see this race go away in the next few years....

Basically the parcours is a wet dream for the lads on the Race Design thread. The race is often very good: they need to market themselves.

Doesn't even say if it's Trentino.

There seems to be very few riders targeting this with any discernable form,Pozzo should go well,maybe Evans,possibly one or more of the Sky crew but after that it becomes difficult to see the make up of top 10 on GC at the end of the race.

I think Aru and Rosa will be at a good level already.
