Missed out on defending his LBL in a final corner crash, and now crashing out of the Giro on the first stage. And in his home country! You got to feel bad for Dan. :(

Crashes can happen in any type of racing. Riders can also crash in a ITT.

The thing is, a few riders down in a road stage means they can still get back onto the peloton in the best of worlds. If half your team in the TTT crashes, you have to wait for everyone and EVERYONE in the team loses tons of time because time is being taken on the 5th man.

Dislike them????
It doesn't help them a bit if you are crying in front of you tele.

Please re frame from laughing at crashes. It's just classless.

No. The question wasn't who can climb well.
The question was wether a steep mountain is automatically harder than a flat one. Which it's not it all depends on your effort.

When Tony rides a flat TT full throttle it's certainly not less hard for him than when he's riding on a steep mountain. Effort is Effort. You can't can push your limits no matter how steep the climb.

So you do get it, but you also don't get it. Oh well you live in your own world, that's fine :)
