This has the potential to be a very good stage. The gc situation of 1 rider 1 minute ahead then 30 riders within 10 minutes is perfect for hard tactical racing start to finish on any stage with some climbs in it. Moreover if the pace is easy enough, if I were say lampre I would maybe throw an attack with cunego on the final hill to see if he can get a minute or so, or if the break is close enough maybe use Roche as a launched for rogers if I'm Saxo.
The aim for these teams should be to stress and tire bmc out for next Tuesday and hope to isolate Evans there.
