Wasn't watching, did Evans really go full hypocrite?

He asked them to slow down because his teammate (among others) crashed. He didn't seem to make a big deal out of it, but it was pretty funny anyway.

"If Cadel is brave enough to ask Androni to slow down because a minor crash you're brave enough to ask that girl out"

What if Cadel said are you crazy? He pointed to his head, why are you chasing anyway? You know, it's not about my man Steve, but the poor boys in the break. Let them enjoy.

I would say he asked them to slow down. They said no. No harm in asking. He is in pink so within rights imo. Didn't see him having a strope to be honest. The Androni guy was waving his arms around Cadel just sat up and went back.

So like this place to launch into 'He's a hypocrite.. blah blah'. The hypocrisy is that those who criticised Cadel's decision to ride the other day are completely fine with Androni pushing on now. 'Oh, but it's revenge! Boohoo!'.

I had no problem with Cadel riding the other day and no problem with Androni pushing on now. Despite it being pointless.

Reason. It's great once you try it.

Which posters are those?

Looks at location on top right hand corner.

Understands.

Mr. Savio, what makes you think Peliz can win this?
Now the gc guys can just as well have a go at it, no chance in hell Androni will be allowed to even come close a stage win today, not a chance.

Any idiot can race, using your head is not a bad idea though.

Bad idea for who? Androni should only race when they are guaranteed to win? I think you are advocating an untenable standard. Seems to me we've had some harder than expected racing that may impact the overall standings in the near term. Personally I want to see competition not a coronation (be that of the overall or on a stage).

Some of it is yes. ;)

Yes. We rode near there last year. We stayedin a little town called Mombarruzzo and cycled round the area for a week, including a day down to the coast at Varazze that they've just gone through. The TT tomorrow goes through the area we cycled around Alba and Barolo. Brilliant riding. Great food.
